Relationships - Today, while reading the paper, I came upon the following statement released by Chris Brown's publicist... "I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with god's help, to emerge a better person."
I just had to shake my head.
He is seeking counseling from his pastor, mother and friends... He is kidding, right? Don't get me wrong, I believe in seeking emotional support from family, friends and spiritual leaders. But, is his pastor a professional counselor? Does he have the training and experience to educate Chris and prevent further violence?
From what I have been able to gather today, Chris Brown is young and talented... Get him REAL help!!!!

My 1st Blog on Friday the 13th - Coincidence?
Coincidence - A striking occurrence of two or more events at one time apparently by mere chance.
Is it a coincidence that today is Friday the 13th and this morning a friend from high school suggested I create a blog? I think not. So here goes...
Like Sophia from the TV show "The Golden Girls", I cannot stop from calling it as I see it. My friends accept me for who I am and know that I will not change. That is why after 4 months of marriage, I divorced my best friend of 15 years.
Over the years I have heard a lot of my male friends complain about their significant other trying to change them, but never from my female friends. Why? What makes woman so eager to change the person they fell in love with?
Tomorrow is Valentines Day, so all of you ladies who are attempting to change your man into the "ideal" partner, give it a rest and enjoy the day!
Tune in Monday for my thoughts on relationships and any other crap I care to comment on...
